Some words about me
ACTING. IT'S A FUNNY OLD GAME, ISN'T IT?
A passionate actor as a child, acting and I parted ways for a long time, before randomly bumping into each other at a party many years later and having a mutual 'Oh! I remember you!' moment. So I went to drama school. It went well (thankfully, otherwise the rest of this paragraph would be really disappointing). So well, in fact, that I graduated with top honours, and since then I have been fortunate enough to appear on stage in award-winning West End theatre (The Last Lunch, dir. Jonathan Brown), on national television and in a number of feature and short films, some of which have appeared at the likes of Cannes and the London Independent Film Festivals. Both audiences and acting professionals like my work (at least that's what they tell me) and I must be somewhat professional and easy to work with as people keep hiring me. Most recently I returned to the stage for the first time in many years as in the title role of Hamlet.
I hope you find my little corner of the internet useful/pleasing/informative. My latest showreel is cunningly hidden under the reels section, if you would like to see me in action.

I'm currently writing my first novel, Life is Paine. This is the first of a planned series of books set in the dystopian realm of Blank City. The first book features Erasmus Paine and his erstwhile companion Fatty Clump, in a murder-mystery, noir , steampunk fantasy, black comedy thriller like no other. Mainly because there aren't any. Follow @blankcitystories on Twitter for (infrequent) updates.
